I attended the launch of Joanne Hynes new collection for Dunne's stores a couple weeks back. I wasn't quite sure what to expect as Joanne has a kooky, mad design sense. I did however know I'd be in for an innovative night.This is why the collection did not disappoint. Hynes clothes will always showcase spectacular hand crafted embellishments. The embroidery is art. Respected art, to drape around your neck or hang from your ears. Sequins, orchids, mesh, clouds and jewels sit on her clothing effortlessly.This designer is in demand, because she is authentic. If you turn for one second, a piece could be snatched. Luckily I bought the earrings I was eyeing up prior to the show starting, as when the show ended they had all sold out. When Hynes releases a new collection you must act fast. People want high fashion. They want to keep this designer their own little secret, so they feel they are the only ones wearing inventive apparel.
These clothes aren't for everyone. If you happen to own a Joanne Hynes piece you certainly have balls and you have a niche for fashion. If you don't, go buy an item and make yourself feel trendy, delicious and super bad ass.
If you do not like these creations you undoubtedly have no sense of fashion and need guidance/ support from me. Anyways... carrying on.
Pink and blue were extremely popular colors it seems throughout the creation of this line. The pow slogan appears on skirts, dresses, shirts, earrings, badges and necklaces.
I fell in love with the "Perfect rainy day mac" as it was just adorable. This clear rain jacket with white polka dots and pink hem is every little girls dream. Yet, it's a jacket made for an adult. A jacket I long to own (One day).
It's the perfect rainy day wear. Feel free to dress to the nines wearing whatever the hell you want underneath.Your outfit won't go unnoticed as the jacket is transparent. The rain mac will only upgrade the look. In Ireland a jacket like this is highly recommended.
The show without a doubt embodied the collection. From the backdrop to the floor, to even the drinks. Patterns and colors came together to advertise each piece of clothing flawlessly. So much time and effort went into this launch and it comes across.
I did not leave the show empty handed. I happened to pick up these gorgeous pink cloud earrings. I wear them most everyday. They are affordable, fashionable and light. I am a huge fan of #joannehynes
earrings and own some from her previous collections, these however are my favorite yet!
Since the launch of part 1 of the spring /summer collection part 2 is also now available online! Where tiger lady prints and buffalo girls steal the show.
